She rolled her eyes. ”Definitely bitchy.”
“I’m cool with it. I hang out with enough bitches.”
“I guess that’s true,” she said with a nod, laughing.
“Maybe I eat when I get bored!” he jested.
She raised her eyebrows at him. ”Do you? Well I suppose I’ll go then, if I’m boring you so much.”
“Nah, I mean, I think I can deal for a little longer,” he teased.
She rolled her eyes. ”Definitely bitchy.”
“You haven’t stopped ingesting stuff since I’ve been up here,” she pointed out with a laugh.
“Maybe I eat when I get bored!” he jested.
She raised her eyebrows at him. ”Do you? Well I suppose I’ll go then, if I’m boring you so much.”
“Yeah, I guess,” he sighed, finishing off his pumpkin juice and then pouring some more.
She laughed a little. ”Well at least one thing is constant with every boy,” she said, nodding towards the pumpkin juice. ”Always eating or drinking something.”
Bentley laughed. “Hey, don’t judge. I haven’t had that much today.”
“You haven’t stopped ingesting stuff since I’ve been up here,” she pointed out with a laugh.
“Sometimes,” she shrugged, “but there’s an exception to every rule.”
“Yeah, I guess,” he sighed, finishing off his pumpkin juice and then pouring some more.
She laughed a little. ”Well at least one thing is constant with every boy,” she said, nodding towards the pumpkin juice. ”Always eating or drinking something.”
“Fair enough,” she shrugged. ”But I think it’s easy enough to figure out. Girls notice the details and overlook the bigger picture. Guys do the opposite.”
“Doesn’t that depend on the girl and the guy though? I mean, I notice some details, sometimes.”
“Sometimes,” she shrugged, “but there’s an exception to every rule.”
“You would be surprised what things girls don’t notice about their best friends,” she said with a shrug.
“You would be surprised what things guys don’t notice about their best friends,” he countered back.
“Fair enough,” she shrugged. ”But I think it’s easy enough to figure out. Girls notice the details and overlook the bigger picture. Guys do the opposite.”
“Then maybe you should tell her that,” she shrugged.
“I’m sure it’s clear to her.”
“You would be surprised what things girls don’t notice about their best friends,” she said with a shrug.
He sighed. “Probably jealous.”
“I didn’t want to say it, but… yeah. I’d say so.”
“I just can’t feel that way towards her,” he sighed.
“Then maybe you should tell her that,” she shrugged.
“Eh. We haven’t talked all that much. She’s been busy, but yeah, I’d imagine she still hates Samantha.”
“Still for no reason?” she asked with a bit of a smile.
He sighed. “Probably jealous.”
“I didn’t want to say it, but… yeah. I’d say so.”
